The launch of Wamunyu festival was on Saturday held in Wamunyu market center.

The festival will give a chance to over 200 participants to display their goods and services.

These ranges from small children, students, local and even foreign companies.

The festival will have three categories namely; livestock and crop demonstrations, manufacturers and service industry and wood carvings. 

The deputy governor Machakos Mr Bernard Kiala attended the launch and praised the initiative aimed at showcasing Wamunyu. 

The initiative is one of its kind and the first in the region.The festival is scheduled for later this year.
