Machakos Woman Rep Dr Susan Musyoka has launched a scathing attack on Dr Alfred Mutua, accusing him of using Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti as a scapegoat to justify his failures.
The vocal politician said that Mutua should work for the people of Machakos and not blamed Ndeti, who have joined the race to unseat him in August.
Musyoka noted that there is little to smile about in Machakos while citing garbage in different parts of the county. She noted that she had taken a trip to Athi River and all she could see was garbage.
"Yesterday, I toured Athi River and I witnessed first hand the state of decay in the area with a lot of garbage piling up and sewage flowing in the open. Governor Mutua has made a serious allegation against Hon Wavinya Ndeti that she is the one who is sponsoring County employees to sabotage the cleanup exercise and even organizing lorries to dump garbage in Machakos," said Musyoka on Tuesday, June 20, as quoted by Tuko.co.ke.
The woman rep also said that the allegations that the governor made against Ndeti should be treated as contempt.
"This allegation should be treated with the contempt that it deserves because we all know the problems in Machakos are as a result of a system failure that starts right at the Governor's doorstep," added Musyoka.
