Over 800 pupils and parents from Yatta have been trained on gunny farming.

The training was conducted at Kikesa primary school in Yatta constituency and was facilitated by the office of the women representative Dr Susan Musyoka through the Affirmative Action Social Development Fund (AASDF).

The gunny bag training seems to be a success as the areas in which the training has been conducted are now growing enough vegetables for consumption and for selling such as Kathiani. 

Speaking after the training of representatives, Dr Susan reiterated her commitment to ensure food security in the county.
