Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has laughed off the recent national launch of Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua’s Maendeleo Chap Chap Movement saying that it's nothing but a propaganda tool.
Kalonzo said that governor Mutua is wasting time with his Movement which he said has no face of the country.
He said that Maendeleo Chap Chap is a tool by governor Mutua to spread propaganda.
“He is well known for propaganda and we can never take him serious with anything,” said Kalonzo who is also Coaltion for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) co-principal.
Kalonzo said that propaganda has never worked adding that governor Mutua has already planned for his downfall.
“”Maendeleo Chap Chap will not go anywhere because Kenyans don’t believe in propaganda they want actions,” he said during a fundraising in aid of women in Kyuso, Mwingi on Sunday.
Kalonzo also asked Mutua to make good his threat of quitting wiper criticizing his recent comment that Wiper had neglected him.
“We cannot work with a person who is a betrayer and who has no interest in party activities,” he added.
Last week while launching Maendeleo Chap Chap Movement, governor Mutua claimed that Wiper had neglected him.
Mutua said that he was still a member of the Kalonzo led party.
He, however, said that he is concentrating popularizing Maendeleo Chap Chap which he said is centered on development at grass roots.
Sources say that Mutua will soon declare the Movement as a political party in readiness for 2017 which he will use to seek re-election as governor for a second term.
