Governor Alfred Mutua's Maendeleo Chap Chap has officially opened branch offices in all constituencies in Machakos, Makueni and Kitui counties.
According to Mutua, the offices aim to engage the citizens in the movement's "new paradigm shift that focuses on bringing speedy, real and tangible change to wananchi."
Speaking during the launch on Thursday, Governor Mutua said that it was only through such movements like Maendeleo Chap Chap that citizens can realize the fruits of devolution.
"For all of us to effectively roll back poverty, create employment, build roads, provide better health services, water and improve the daily lives of wananchi, we need a new, rapid development formula and that formula is Maendeleo Chap Chap," he said.
"This is the time for real change championed by other leaders who are servants and whose focus is on the people," he added.
The newly opened offices are also set to register new members from the grassroots.
