Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader Alfred Mutua has announced that his party will not issue tickets to individuals suspected of stealing public funds.
While speaking during a popularization tour of Embu County on Saturday Mutua said investigations should be done on all public office bearers and action taken against those found guilty of looting public funds.
“An audit of the wealth of all MCAs, MPs, Senators, Cabinet Secretaries and all public officers should be done. If a politician builds a big house or factory and his salary cannot manage such fetes, they could have stolen public resources and should be vetted,” said Mutua.
Mutua blamed the country’s high levels of poverty and joblessness on public funds theft.
