Maendeleo Chap Chap Party has today held a National Delegates Convention meeting in Nakuru County.

The convention was attended by the party officials and members including its leader who is the Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.

The workshop, whose agenda was centered on the involvement of women and youth in the party and the future of the bloc was held at the Alps Hotel in Nakuru town East constituency.

The Governor, on his twitter account posted that the meeting was aimed at coming up with strategies to strengthen the party in preparation for future political battles.

''At the Maendeleo Chap Chap Party National Delegates Institute Workshop at the Alps Hotel in Nakuru County. Key on the agenda is the future of Maendeleo Chap Chap Party and the involvement of women and youth in the party,'' he tweeted.

''Plenary discussions on strategies to strengthen @MCC_Party at the National and grassroots levels are also part of today's agenda,'' Mutua added.

Mutua had announced he will be rallying for the Presidency in 2022 general elections on his Maendeleo Chap Chap Party ticket.
