Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has said that Maendeleo Chap chap party is not in any political coalition but in the hearts Kenyans.

Addressing the media on Monday at Kisii town when he met with aspirants and delegates from the region he said that his party is not, either in Cord or Jubilee but in the hearts of Kenyans.

“Our Maendeleo Chap chap is not in any political coalition but it is in the hearts of Kenyans that why we have come to Kisii so that we can have all in this party and develop together,” said Mutua.

At the same time, he said that the party is focused on bringing revolution to Kenyans.

In answering the question posed by one of the reporters about the election bill which has been signed by the President into law, Mutua called for the leaders and politicians to look for other ways of solving the matters rather than going to the streets.

“Disagreement between individual is normal but there must be a way of solving matters rather than going to the streets,” he said.

Among the aspirants who have shown interest in vying for parliamentary under Maendeleo Chap chap is Kisii county secretary Johnstone Ndege who is eyeing the North Mugirango seat.
