Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has said that his party Maendeleo Chapchap Movement will be going national before end of the year.
Speaking while unveiling the party on Thursday at the Bomas of Kenya in an event attended by delegates from over the country, Mutua said that plans were underway to see the party a national outfit with offices across the country.
''We will open branches everywhere in the country from Migori to Tharakanithi to Nakuru. We will also open branches in each of the over 1500 wards in the country," he said.
The leader who got to office through the Wiper Democratic Movement has in the recent past been in political disagreements with some of the party's top officials including his Senator Johnstone Muthama and the party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
This saw him start his own movement which according to him is aimed at delivering development as fast as possible for a speedy life improvement.
