Former South Mugirango MP Omingo Magara has asked Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama to consider resigning over incompetence.
Magara, who unsuccessfully vied for the Kisii County senator seat in 2017, said Nyagarama’s administration has failed to improve the state of public health centers in the region.
“The information going round on social media about the deplorable state of Nyamira County hospital should not be taken for granted.
"It is time Nyagarama should consider resigning for failing to provide the basic needs such as water supply to public health centers,” he said.
Magara added that Nyagarama was not elected to earn salary but serve the people.
He urged county MCAs to act because Nyagarama has not seen anything wrong in his government.
“MCAs must act and remove Nyagarama from office if he will not resign failure to which there will be no tangible development that will be seen in Nyamira County under Nyagarama’s leadership,” he added.
