National Super Alliance (NASA) CEO Norman Magaya has distanced himself from a tweet he allegedly wrote calling for the opposition to put itself in order.
Magaya clarified that the Twitter account bearing the message where he allegedly links Deputy Director of Campaigns in the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party Noah Akala to businessman Jimmy Wanjigi's 'death announcement' on Daily Nation as 'fake' calling on Kenyans to disregard it.In a tweet on his official account on Thursday, Magaya further alleged that the fake tweet is the mechanization of 'Jubilee desperate and empty shells' adding that they know nothing but 'forgery and fraud'.The fake tweet was published on an account bearing the username of @NormanMagaya whereas Magaya applies the @amugira username on his Twitter account. "The account used to make the below post is FAKE and should be disregarded. It is the mechanization of jubilee desperate and empty shells. They know nothing but forgery and fraud in all their affairs," Magaya said in a tweet on Thursday. On his part, Noah Akala has affirmed that he has embarked on taking appropriate action on all those responsible for the defamatory posts."UPDATE: Thanks for all those who’ve alerted me to the defamatory posts doing the rounds. I’ve got 10 names of those behind it. Taking appropriate action," reiterated Akala in a tweet on Thursday.
