Tanzania President John Pombe Magufuli has remained unapologetic after his government auctioned over 1000 cows seized from herders who had trespassed into the Tanzanian territory.

In a statement Monday, Magufuli whose government has not been in very good terms with her Kenyan counterpart recently, vowed to repeat the same over and over again saying that his nation is not a grazing land for Kenyan herders.

He said that Kenyans, and other foreign pastoralists have for a very long time misused his country, going to an extent of invading parks and as a result denying him tourism revenue, a trend he vowed to bring to a halt, in accordance with the Tanzanian law.

''And in that line, those who sneak with their livestock into this country will not be spared. We will confiscate them and do them according to what our laws instruct,'' he is quoted by the Standard.

He as well advised Kenya and all the neighboring nations to do the same with Tanzanian lawbreakers.

''Even them(the other countries)can deal with such cases involving our herders as per their laws,'' he said.
