The Tanzanian government is blaming Kenya for the recent disagreement over auctioning of cattle belonging to the latter herders.According to Tanzania, the Kenyan government did not warn its citizens about an order issued by restricting the free movement of alien cattle into Tanzania. In an interview with KBC, Tanzania’s Ministry of Trade and Investment Prof Adolf Faustine Mkenda stated that his government was categorical that this was not an isolated case targeting Kenya and its nationals but an order that was directed to all countries bordering Tanzania. He said that the auctioning of the cattle was a clear failure by Kenya not following the laid down rules. His sentiments come after President John Magufuli said that he was unapologetic over the action by his country.
