Former Ghanaian President John Mahama, who headed the Commonwealth Observer Mission during the August 8 general elections, is President Uhuru Kenyatta's personal friend.
This is according to NASA leader Raila Odinga.
Raila has said that international observers led by Mahama were among the biggest reasons the Kenyan elections flopped.
“We were very disappointed with the position taken by the international observers, it really brought to question the role of international observation of elections,” he said.
“President John Mahama did not disclose that he had a conflict of interest. He’s a friend of President Uhuru Kenyatta,” said Odinga.
