Celebrated radio presenter Maina Kageni, popularly known for his lavish living and adoration for expensive classy vehicles has revealed a thing many did not know about him.
In a morning conversation with co-host Mwalimu Kingang'i, Kageni argued against people building houses in the countryside.
He revealed that he has never spent a night in his rural area, adding that nobody should waste money building at a place he cannot stay.
"Why is it important to build in mashambani, and why are you wasting money building there and do you honestly intend to go back and leave in mashambani when you retire?" he asked.
"I know it sounds crazy, but I've never spent the night in gichagi (rural home)," Maina confessed.
Maina Kageni went on to reveal that even when he was young, they would go to "ushago and go back to Nairobi the same day".
