Businessmen roasting maize in Kaptembwa wants the county government to help them by constructing for them permanent tents which can shed them during rainy season and hot sun.
Speaking to this writer, Rachel Auma said the business has benefited them a lot.
She said that during rainy season or mid day hot sun, they experience a lot of problems because they don’t have tents which can prevent them from rain.
“We need the county government to help us built durable tents. Maize roasting is a booming business and through such, we will educate our children and feed our family from the money we get,” she said.
Mrs Auma challenged other women and youths who are idling to join the business since there is high demand of roasted maize.
