Youths in Majengo Kiambu county have been asked to try their best and explore existing opportunities in the informal sector.
Other than staying long waiting for white collar jobs which are not forthcoming área MCA Morris Mburu has asked them to venture in readily available opportunities.
Speaking in Majengo area on Thursday Morris Mburu talked to área Business Association members and said that many youths are losing out at home and others getting into crime waiting for office jobs which are hard to come across in the recent days.
"The opinion left for our Young members and youths in general to run-away from unemployment is get into informal sector where one can make a living," said Mburu.
He added: "Our educated youths must change their mindset of all being in white collar jobs to be successful in life.
Learned youths can see that informal sector in Thika is widening everday but youths are nowhere to be seen. It is all dominated by the old."
"Youths of this area have to depart from the old ways of carrying out of their activities. They must be allowed to be the to lead as they have a lot of atores potentials," said Mburu
