[Photo|Courtesy]The National Super Alliance (Nasa) has suffered another blow, after two of its former governors, jumped ship.The two, ODM's former Governor David Nkedianye and his Taita Taveta counterpart John Mruttu, are said to have left the Opposition, for President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party .Reports indicate Nkedianye, who lost to Joseph Ole Lenku, in the August elections, agreed with Deputy President Ruto (Jubilee Party deputy), last week about his entry to the party.He is however yet to confirm the reports, which also indicated Ruto was planning to visit the county, to possibly welcome him to the party, soon.

On the other hand, Taita Taveta's Mruttu, accused his former party leader, NASA leader Raila Odinga, of failing to support him, despite campaigning for him widely, ahead of August polls.He said President Uhuru's campaign team, had consulted him, asking him to join the party, before October 26 fresh presidential election. "I have widely consulted my followers and they have positively welcomed the move," Mruttu said, Saturday.The former governor vied as an Independent Candidate after losing ODM party ticket to former Wundanyi MP Thomas Mwadeghu.The two later lost to former veteran radio presenter Granton Samboja of Wiper Democratic Movement.Mruttu was addressing the press in Mwatate.
