President Uhuru Kenyatta met another major blow on Wednesday after a group of Internally displaced persons (IDPs) drawn from Kisii and Nyamira counties respectively declared they won't support him if he won't deliver his promise of compensating them as he promised them while holding his campaigns in the area.
According to the IDPs the president allocated over ksh 20 million to them over three months ago but unfortunately non of them have been able to receive even a single cent since then.
Led by Elijah Nyangweso while holding a peaceful demonstration in Kisii town they claimed that no government official have been picking their calls despite the fact that they highly voted for Jubilee in the August pols and said if they won't receive the funds by the end of the week they will reconsider their support for Jubilee.
"The president assured us that in one week's time we will receive our funds and up-to-date we haven't received any amount in our bank accounts," said Nyangweso.
The group also called upon the national government to ensure that it keeps their word or forget any vote from them.
They were in a group of about one thousand plus and their call comes barely few months after Uhuru toured the area and promised to keep his word by ensuring that the funds gets into the account of the IDPs in a weeks time.

This may be a major blow to Uhuru's team as he managed to gun over 30 percent of the total votes cast in the recently concluded pols.
