[Photo: PSCU]Jubilee Party leader, President Uhuru Kenyatta has received a major boost, as he seeks re-election.This is after the former Tanzanian Prime Minister, Edward Lowassa, endorsed hi bid, and asked the people of the Maasai community, to back hi as well.Lowassa’s made the endorsement while in Suswa, Narok County, with other five Maasai communities of the Tanzanian origin backing him."Why are we supporting Uhuru? Because he has delivered. His administration has delivered and everybody else can see it. We want him to continue delivering for the people of Kenya," Lowassa said, Friday.
On his part, President Kenyatta, thanked Lowassa and the Maa community, saying he was sure of their support.He pledged to work closely with them, adding that his government will ensure development in Maa communities, once re-elected.Lowassa has been in support of Uhuru, after opposition leader Raila Odinga, backed Tanzania President John Pombe Magufuli presidency, against him, in 2015.
