Nakuru County assembly majority leader Waithuke Njane has urged Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) and the executive to work together.
Njane said that working together is the only key to realising development in the county.
"I would like to request that we MCAs have a good relationship with the executive and work as a team. I believe through team work, we can achieve a lot," Waithuke said on Sunday.
He said that whenever quarrels take the frontline, service delivery to the people and development take the backseat.
He added, “Politics should not undermine our working relationship. We have to be true to self and the electorate who gave us the mandate to lead them."
Njane stressed that there is need for a total shift on how the county assembly and the executive relate with each other.
"We are the first government of this county and we need to set the right pace for those who will come after us," said the outspoken majority leader.
