David Makali has terminated his engagement with the Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

IEBC Communications and Public Affairs Manager Andrew Limo said Mr Makali has been offering consultancy services to the IEBC as a communication adviser.

Mr Limo said this follows a mutual agreement between Makali and the IEBC that considered his other engagements.

“The Commission appreciates Mr Makali’s professional contribution and wishes him all the best in his new endeavors,” he stated in a press statement on Friday.

Makali is said to be gunning to contest for the post of Senator, Bungoma County in 2017.
