Political Analyst and Communications Consultant David Makali has resigned from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
Mr Makali, who has been offering consultancy services to the IEBC as a Communication Adviser, has terminated his engagement with the Commission.
This follows a mutual agreement between Makali and the commission that considered his other engagements that may be perceived as conflict of interest in relation to the mandate of the commission.
In a statement sent to newsrooms through Communication and Public Affairs Manager Andrew Limo, IEBC appreciated Makali’s professional contribution and wished him all the best in his new endeavours.
Makali is said to be venturing into politics with the 2017 campaigns already on course.
