In his petition, Ngunjiri accused Prof. Mutua of allegedly working in close association with some NGO's to influence the decision of the Supreme Court to nullify President Uhuru Kenyatta's August 8 elections win.
But in a quick re-battle, the controversial scholar dismissed the lawmaker's claims, stating that Jubilee's attacks on him and other institutions is nothing of importance.
"Jubilee attempts to oust CJ Maraga +attacks on me +civil society+our international partners like IDLO and FORD are a big nothing burger,"Prof. Mutua said in a statement posted on his twitter handle.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has trained his guns on Chief Justice David Maraga and other Supreme Court for 'overturning the will of the people' following their decision to annul his win.
He has further vowed to 'fix' the court if he is re-elected.
