Speaking on Monday when he officially opened four classrooms of Banda Primary school in Soy, Kibunguchy said that social classes should not exist in matters of education.

“Children from both rich and poor families have a right to learn in better schools, if the current trend continue, then National schools will be only admitting pupils from rich families in the near future,” he said.

He also called upon the government to release funds for Free Primary Education (FPE) and subsidized secondary education in good time if the country is to realize development through education.

He went ahead to urge the Jubilee government to employ more teachers as that is the only key to quality education.

About District Mock exams, Kibunguchy promised residents that as next year begins, CDF will fully sponsor six classes so that parents will not strain to get money for the said exams.

“We don't want parents in Likuyani to strain because of their children. That is why CDF will fully sponsor class five to eight and form three and four so that they sit their exams without problems,” he said.

Kibunguchy has also started a Foundation called ‘Dr. Kibunguchy Foundation’ to help bright, needy students.
