Malindi MP aspirant Aisha Jumwa has advised Kenyans to make wise decisions by electing responsible leaders in the August 8 general election.Jumwa said Kenyans have an opportunity to elect leaders who will push the country’s development agenda forward.Addressing supporters in Malindi Town on Wednesday, Jumwa cautioned residents against voting for leaders based on their political affiliations and wealth.“The August 8 polls will be a matter of life and death for Kenyans where they must stand firm and be wise on who they elect,” said Jumwa, as quoted by the Standard.Jumwa stated that the challenges facing the country are as a result of irresponsible leaders being elected to office.The Kilifi Women Representative cited the high cost of living currently being experienced in the country and the high rate of unemployment, saying they are as a result of poor leadership orchestrated by irresponsible leaders.Jumwa urged Kenyans to trust the National Super Alliance (NASA) arguing that the alliance will deliver its pledges if elected on August 8.She said NASA will fight for inclusivity, champion unity and eradicate tribalism, nepotism, marginalization and corruption which she said are ‘eating’ up the country.She said the Jubilee government has frustrated Kenyans and does not deserve re-election.
