The importance of a father for every child is strongly emphasized.

The role a father plays in a child's life is immeasurable.

Some children are orphaned, being raised by single mothers or just have absent fathers.

But not having a father shouldn't limit your life.  Even if your biological father is not around, it doesn't mean you can't have a man to take care of you. You need a father figure.

There are many male entities that can be there for you like your grandfather, uncle, family friend or anyone that chooses to be in your life.  A father figure can stand in and take on the responsibilities of a dad.

You'll have someone to discipline you, provide for you and take care of you.

They may not always be able to fulfill all these duties depending on your proximity to them.

However, if they always try to be there for you, it will be comforting.  Without a father, you'll have to learn to be responsible to face the world.

Even with a mother who tries her best to be there, she can't do everything.

Do enjoy your childhood but being mature will help you navigate the world better.  If you feel left out of a family, worry not.

Even though not related by blood, many social setups like at church, school or neighborhood can provide the safe comfort of a family net.  A father figure can step in and teach you what a father ought to.
