Outgoing Athi River Deputy County Commissioner Kodeck Makori has been praised for good leadership.

Champions of Christ International Church clergy Bishop Nicholas Muli said the commissioner served with decorum during his entire tenure in the sub county.

“The deputy county commissioner had put on the fore the Christian community during the period he served in Athi River sub county, the community will dearly miss him,” he said.

“Biblia inasema upandacho ndicho utakacho vuna, mema uliyopanda Athi River itakufuata. No weapon directed against you shall prosper,” he said.

Bishop Muli said the commissioner was exceptional in his service as he demonstrated professionalism.

“I have personally had confidence in you for all this time, because of how you do your work effectively,” he said.

Bishop Muli urged other leaders from the region, especially the incoming Deputy County Commissioner Albert Kimathi, area assistant county commissioners, chiefs and their assistants to emulate Mr Makori’s good work so as not to compromise the good standards already set by him in the region.
