Makueni nominated Member of County Assembly Linet Mbula now wants Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to completely end ties with NASA leader Raila Odinga.
Mbula argues that Kalonzo will gain nothing and go nowhere if he continues to depend on Raila Odinga.
Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the Kamba Leaders Unity Meeting in Matungulu on Monday, Mbula said Kalonzo is better off without Raila whom he accused of treating the former Vice President as a ‘flower girl’.
The vocal nominated MCA said Raila has often betrayed Kalonzo’s loyalty hence the Wiper leader should move forward without him.
“It is time Kalonzo and the larger Kamba leaders made firm decision and stop depending on people who don’t value their support,” Mbula said.
Mbula said Kalonzo will win the 2022 presidential election without Raila or NASA’s support.
She said Raila’s move to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta without Kalonzo and other NASA co principals' knowledge was betrayal of the highest order.
Mbula said all indications show that Raila will not honor the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) he signed with Kalonzo in 2017.
She asked Kamba leaders to unite and back Kalonzo’s 2022 bid.
Mbula urged Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua to shelve his 2022 bid in support of Kalonzo's.
Pressure has been mounting on Kalonzo to quit NASA on grounds that Raila will betray him again.
On Monday, Kalonzo proposed formation of Okoa Kenya Movement (OKM) to push for the country’s liberation.
Kamba leaders have since endorsed Kalonzo’s’ 2022 bid saying that he is the suitable candidate to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.
