In an effort to promote the quality of Early Childhood and Technical Education in Makueni, the County government initiated talks with Longhorn Publishers.

This is to ensure content development and supply of learning materials to all Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) and County Technical Training Institutes (CTTI).

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Longhorn pledged to equip one model CTTI and two ECD centres with learning materials and E-content for the instructors in the County. 

The partnership will also involve training of all ECDE teachers by the publisher.
