Kilonzo said the president's long speech didn't give details of his handshake with NASA leader Raila Odinga.

He said the speech was alright but Kenyans are still in the dark concerning what the two leaders discussed during the handshake.

"The speech was pleasant, everyone was wowed but there are buts. The president didn't tell us what he discussed between him and opposition leader Raila Odinga," Kilonzo Junior said.

Kilonzo spoke to this writer on the phone on Wednesday.

He said the president didn't tell Kenyans what will happen next and the position Raila holds in the government.

"He hasn't told us what plan they have and when the plan will begin yet that was the most important part of the speech Kenyans were eager to hear," Kilonzo Junior said.

Kilonzo Junior hailed the reconciliation calls by President Uhuru Kenyatta stating forgiveness and reconciliation will ensure the country's healing.
