The Member of County Assembly for Makutano Ward Justus Kyalo in Mwala sub-county has promised to provide Identity Card application at residents homes in his area.
Speaking while addressing Kandumbu area residents on Tuesday, Kimata stated that voters card was the only possible way of getting good leadership and developments.
"The young people who have reached the legal age of registering for ID cards should do so and register as voters and it's hard to access the areas I will personally ensure the registration people come to the villages and houses to make the registration easier," said Kimata.
Kimata further stated that the only way Ukambani areas can be represented in the government is through the constitutional right of voting.
"The only way we acquire a playing ticket against our friends from different Counties," The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission early this year launched voter registration exercise that is aimed at registering more voter for the 2017 general elections.
The countrywide exercise was carried out from February 15 to March 15 but is still ongoing in different Constituencies up to May 2017.
