A male teacher at the Moi Girls High school has been ordered to take a DNA test in connection to the rape incident that happened at the institution.

However, the male teacher's identity has been hidden for security reason but the exercised ordered by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) could either vindicate the teacher or place him at the scene of the crime.

The directive by the DCI comes in after it emerged that the girl was attacked in the dormitory hence allegations that the incident n=might have been done by someone within the school.

The investigators also said the DNA test will help determine the case since it will allow forensic experts to compare the profile of a suspect against body fluids found on the victim.

A new twist in the directive by the DCI now states that all male workers including teachers at Moi Girls' School, Nairobi ordered to take DNA test after rape claims.
