This is a 'mali mali business' in Kiang'ombe. The owner Anthony Mukuru says that the business has started booming due to the high demand of open shoes which he attributed to the ongoing sun.
Interviewed on Monday, Mukuru said that he used to make Kshs. 450 profit in December but that he makes Kshs. 700 or more in the month of January.
"I used to make around Kshs. 45o a day but with the increase in the demand of open shoes which i purchase in Thika; the business has boomed and i now make Kshs. 700 or more in a day," he said on Monday.
