Barack Obama's half-brother Malik Obama has resorted Twitter to rant against the president after Republican Candidate Donald Trump won the country's presidential election.

He used the site to congratulate Trump mock Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

"Crooked Hillary has called President Trump to conceded," read one of his tweets.

"Rigged system but the people have spoken! They don't want to call it!"

Malik's began the rants a day before the elections, referring to TV channel CNN as the "Clinton News Network".

"They nailed him to the cross, hung him up to dry, and pounded him to the ground but Mr Trump showed them he's tough as nails! Wow!" he added.
