[Photo|Courtesy]Rt Rev Emmanuel Barbara, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Malindi has passed on.Rev Barbara was born on October 27, 1949, in the parish of Gzira, in the Archdiocese of Malta according to a communication from the Catholic Diocese of Nakuru and Eldoret.Mourning the death of the Bishop, the two Dioceses said Barbara died on Friday morning."We mourn with the people of Malindi Diocese and my God see you through this mourning period. Let us remember the people of Malindi in our prayers today. Eternal rest grant unto Bishop Barbara, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May they rest in peace. Amen," read a communication from the Catholic Diocese of Eldoret.
