[Photo/judiciary.co.ke]A man accused of defiling his three-year-old daughter has been set free by a Nakuru court.Samuel Okemo had been charged with defilement of the minor in Kaptembwo Estate Nakuru County.During the hearing of the case, the court was told the accused committed the indecent act between May and July 2015 while his children were under his care after he separated with his wife.In his defence, Okemo denied the charges claiming he had been framed by his wife after they fell apart.In her ruling on Friday, Nakuru Senior Resident Magistrate Yvonne Khatambi acquitted Okemo citing insufficient evidence.The judge observed that though the victim was of tender age, she did not link the accused to the offence while testifying in court.
