A man facing robbery with violence allegations was on Monday denied bond by a Nakuru court.
Paul Njoroge is accused of attacking Noah Kipng'etich, together with other accomplices who were not in court and running away with a Techno phone valued Sh12500 in Njoro Sub County.
The complainant succumbed to serious head injuries at Nakuru Referral on December 13, moments after suing the accused.
Njoroge is also facing a different case for allegedly stealing Sh120,000 from two Egerton businessmen and running away with electronics worth thousands, allegations which he denied before principal magistrate Bernard Moraro.
The prosecution requested the court to hold the accused on grounds that he would face hostility from locals if released on bond. The case will be mentioned on January 9, 2017 for fixation of hearing.
