The bodies of the man, only identified as Dan, and that of Tabitha Waringa were found lying lifeless at their house with bullet wounds in what many suspected as a love triangle fiasco.

Nakuru police boss Benard Kioko, who confirmed the killings, said police had launched investigations into the bizarre incident.

“We have launched investigations into the incident to arrest the killers,”said Kioko, adding that no weapons were recovered in the house.

He added that, the bodies had physical wounds and investigations will be carried out to establish the motive of the killings.

According to neighbours, two men who alighted from a vehicle whose number plate was blocked were seen entering the deceased’s house before gun shot noise filled the air.

“We saw two men enter the house and after about five minutes we heard gunshots and saw the men fleeing,” said David Kiguro, a neighbour, adding that when they drew near to find out what had happened, they found the two lying dead.

The bodies were taken to Nakuru municipal mortuary.
