A middle-aged man was arrested in Mombasa for allegedly illegally selling the Basic Curriculum Framework' book by Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD).The elderly man was allegedly found with the copy belonging to KICD illegally and was selling it at a bookshop in Mombasa when the raid was conducted and he was found with an original copy of the book from Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development.KICD confirmed that the copy the alleged offender was selling was the original copy as produced by the institution.Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development is a State Corporation mandated to conduct Research and Develop Curricula for all education levels below universities.Police scrutinized the copy with the help of KICD and ascertained that the alleged offender had the original copy from Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development illegally.The institution further warned that it is illegal to sell books that have not been authorized to sell by KICD.Police held the offender to help them with the investigation before arraignment in court.
