A 50-year-old man has been arrested for shooting his nephew using an arrow.
The victim who was aged 35 was shot in the chest by his uncle due to family differences Wednesday night.
The incidence took place in Kathika village, Ikalaasa location, Mwala Sub-county, Machakos County.
Ikalaasa Location chief Benjamin Mutisya confirmed the incident saying that the man is being held at the Ikalaasa Administration Police Post.
The OCS of Masii also confirmed the incident and said that the man will be arraigned in court for murder.
The body of the victim was collected by the OCS of Masii and transported to Machakos Level five hospital mortuary.
Benjamin Mutisya said that the two had some family differences which prompted the uncle of the victim to shoot his nephew in the chest killing him instantly.
