The minor’s mother only identified as Kemunto said she noticed the minor had difficulties in walking and when she questioned her, she revealed that the suspect defiled her daughter after she was lured with biscuits.
“My daughter narrated to me how the suspect tricked her to enter his house. I took her for medical tests at Kijauri health center and the tests showed she was defiled by the man. All I want is justice for my daughter,” said Kemunto.
She said she will not allow the matter be solved out of the court as requested by the suspect's family members.
A police officer who declined to be named because he is not authorized to speak on behalf of the police said the man will be arraigned in court on Monday next week to face defilement charges.
“We have prepared charge sheets and the suspect will be taken to court on Monday,” said the officer.
