On Monday, a man was accused of trespassing into the Saudi Arabia Embassy and has been arrested on claims that he is linked to terror groups.
Pangani police arrested Mohammed Kibathi after he was charged in court trespassing.
Kibathi will be investigated along with the claims of him being linked to terror groups. It was also brought to the attention of the court that he has been sought by other organizations.
"We need to know why he went to the embassy in the evening, citing security issues at this time of elections," the prosecution said as reported by The Star.
The incident took place July 24 an authorities say that the accused gained unauthorized access into the embassy.
The accused however was in a distraught state claimed his innocence and said those who are after him will pay to Allah.
"Allahu Akbar" meaning "Allah is the greatest", Kibathi reiterated.
According to Kibathi, he was under the influence of alcohol at the time and has no idea how he found himself at the embassy.
