A man was arrested on Tuesday in connection to the murder of a boda boda operator in Keringet, Kuresoi, last week.
According to the Star Shadrack Kipngetich, 21, lived next to Leonard Ruto whose butchered body was found in a forest.
Police recovered bloody clothes and a knife at the suspect's house.
They said Kipngetich was arrested after he moved to his other home in Kuresoi North and tried to sell the land near Ruto's house.Furious neighbours torched the man's house and claimed he was the suspect in the murder.
The suspect was apprehended a day after the victim's burial and taken to Keringet police station.
