Ralph Edward Nzui, as he was later identified was arrested in Nairobi on Friday before he was later presented before Resident Magistrate Linus Kassan to respond to the claims leveled against him in relation to the land.
The accused will remain in remand for ten days pending investigations into the matter. Nzui alongside Jacob Muinde Kilele was arraigned in Mavoko Court in Machakos on October 24, 2016 following accusations that they had “obtained property” belonging to Maviji Dhaji Gajipara of Shamji Kalyan Pindoria Ltd through fraudulent means.
The man, however, skipped court hearing which led to his arrest. It is reported that Nzui is an agent at Moonglow Ltd.
The firm is linked to former National Social Security Fund chairman Samuel Muinde. The two are accused of being involved in unconstitutional dealing to transfer ownership of the 25 acres after it emerged that Shamji Kalyan Pindoria Ltd also owns the land.
The two firms have both presented their title deeds in court. This comes after the Director of Public Prosecutions, in April, ordered police to throw out the robbery case against the two.
