A 23-year-old man was on Saturday night attacked and robbed of his motorbike in Nyawitta, Kisumu.
Samson Kimeli sustained minor head injuries during the midnight incident.
Confirming the incident, area assistant chief Pius Mburu said the robbers gained access into the victim's house where they tied him up before demanding for the motorbike keys.
"According to information we have, the attackers were two in number and it seems they only wanted to take the motorbike alone as they did not steal anything else,'' said Mburu.
Kimeli said that when he tried resisting to give the motorbike key is when the attackers decided to assault him.
Mburu said that together with the police, they are launching investigations into the matter and will apprehend the culprits.
