A 40 year old man is currently held at Kisii Central Police station after being nabbed on the act with a 16 year old girl.
The man identified as Elijah Momanyi is said to have traveled from his Nyachenge home area on Monday, met with the girl in Mwembe area before booking a room at backyard resort.
Mwembe area Chief Zachariah Ogato said they managed to arrest the duo with the help of police officers following a tip off from the public.
He said they raided the lodging and ordered the two love birds to open the door.
"We waited for over 20 minutes for the suspect to open the door.He then tried to bribe us so as we let him go," he said.
He also said that the man was lucky as already a crowd was building up outside the lodging to deal with him.
The man will be arraigned in court today.Mr Ogato sent a stern warning to all adults to seize from such behaviors.
