There was griefing today in Tirigoi Village, Kuresoi South when a middle-aged man stabbed his wife o death following Sh500 which was lost by the wife.
The father of five, identified as Fredrick Kirui, escaped after allegedly committing the crime.
According to eyewitness, the wife was sent to a nearby shop but lost the money.
Jane Kirui, the deceased, accidentally lost the money along the way. Upon return to their homestead, she tried to explain to her husband what has happened but the husband turned against her and stabbed her several times in the chest.
Confirming the incident, the area chief John Arusei said police have started hunting down the man and he will be arrested soon. The chief urged married men to control their temper to avoid such incidents.
