The man identified as Arrington Wafula approached the office with an open laptop looking for a good signal.

The security guard at the office entrance was troubled with the arrival of the man he suspected to be a hacker, and raised the alarm in the process.

The situation caused senior administrators at the office to pause their duties ad attend to the alarm raised.

During the questioning, the man explained that he was on duty carrying out networking activities on behalf of his company.

“I was sent to check and record the quality of signal at every angle of this building,”said Arrington.

Unidentified officials from the office denied Arrington access to the area despite him having an official badge.

According to the officials, no prior information had been given to them regarding Arrington's visit.

“Some hackers were caught here and they were going around with laptops the way you are doing,” one official told Arrington.

The situation was calmed after the caretaker of Swan Centre building confirmed that he was aware of the presence of Arrington.
