A man caused drama in Kisumu town on Wednesday after he confronted his wife about cheating.
The locals were treated to the drama as the man tried to undress the wife at her work place. According to the middle-aged man, her wife did not report home last night and had no clue of where she had spent the night.
The woman, however, defended herself claiming she was not married to him.
The man is a mason while the woman sells fast moving foods close to Maseno University.
The alleged husband identified as Peter Onindo told a Hivisasa writer that it was not the first time her wife was cheating on him, adding that on several occasions she came home late claiming she was out working.
“I have suspected that my wife has been seeing someone else. She no longer loves me as she used to and comes home late. When I ask her about it she tells me lets break up yet am not ready to do so since I really love her,” Onindo said.
Onindo says after she failed to come home last night and switching off her phone, he was convinced of her infidelity.
“I must teach her a lesson. I know she has moved on with someone else but she just can’t keep on using people and dumping them,” he noted.
The lady was, however, rescued by her fellow workmates who covered her up in ‘lessos’, and whisked her off leaving the alleged husband threatening to kill her.
Eye witness say the husband came in very furious asking for ‘Kadogo’ (His wife).
He threw her things to the ground before tearing her cloths accusing her of seeing another man.
“He just showed up looking very angry. He threw her things to the ground and slapped her and tried to strip her naked, “ Elizabeth Akello narrated.
The drama led to a traffic snarl up as people watched the event unfold.
